Privacy notice
Last updated 12 October 2026. NumberDesk serves people in many countries. This notice is written to meet the GDPR (EU and UK), Nigeria's NDPA, California's CCPA and similar laws.
What we collect
- Visits to this site: your IP address, the approximate city, region and country it points to, your browser/device type, the page you opened, the site that sent you, the time, and a random ID kept in your browser's storage.
- Your account: your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Numbers you link: the phone number, its nickname and its connection status.
- Your texts: SMS messages received on numbers you linked, so you can read them in your inbox.
Why
- Visit data: to count visitors, see where traffic comes from, and block abuse and floods. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site.
- Account, numbers and texts: to provide the service you signed up for. Legal basis: our contract with you.
We don't sell your data, show ads, or share it with advertisers. Only you can read your texts; admins see totals and visit data, never message content.
How long we keep it
- IP addresses, city, region and device details are deleted automatically after 90 days. After that only the country and the visit date remain, for totals.
- Account data, numbers and texts are kept until you ask us to delete your account.
Who processes it
The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting) and Supabase (database and sign-in, stored in the UK region). Linked phones forward texts through SMS Gateway for Android. These providers process data only to run the service. Some may handle data outside your country, under their standard data-protection terms.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to the visit tracking. Email kennysilver65@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We store a random visitor ID and, if you sign in, your login session in your browser. Clearing your browser storage removes both.
